Restriction of movement, pain when walking or even permanently, loss of power and noisy joints - arthrosis can be treated with TCM.
_Arthrosis
Conventional medicine sees arthrosis as wear of the joints (cartilage and bone). Typical symptoms are restriction of movement, pain when walking or even permanently, loss of power and noisy joints.
TCM sees the causes as external such as cold, wetness, wind, injuries and over-exertion and also inner causes such as kidney-Qi weakness. All the causes lead to disruption of the energy flow.
On this topic, TCM says:
A patient from Wittlich suffered from arthrosis of the left knee. The responsible conventional medical practitioner recommended replacement of the joint by an artificial one. She was treated by our TCM therapist using acupuncture and moxibustion to provide energy, among other along the points Ni3, Le6 and Ma36.
The patient was without pain after one session.
